What are fee and required documents for recordal of chance of name/address of trademark in Thailand?
In order to record chance of name/address of trademark in Thailand, you shall need to pay fees and prepare required documents as following.
1. Required documents recordal of chance of name/address of trademark in Thailand
To record a change of name/address against a trademark registration in Thailand, we need the following documents:
(1) A notarized power of attorney showing the current trademark registrant’s name and address;
(2) An original extract attesting the change issued by the companies registry or any other competent authority or a notarially certified copy thereof. If the name change document is not in English, an English translation is also required. Certification of the English translation is not required.
We must record the change of agent simultaneously with recordal of change of name/address. We do not charge our fee for changing the agent.
2. Fee for recordal of change of name/address of trademark in Thailand
Our fees are shown as below:

The original registration certificate of trademark in Thailand is not required for recordal of change of name/address. Nevertheless, if the trademark owner lost the certificate and would like us to obtain a substitute one, it is possible to do so. Our fees for obtaining a substitute certificate against a registration are shown as below:

The substitute certificate will be issued by the Thai DIP in hard color copy to replace the original one in case of loss, etc. and has the same legal value.
3. Duration of recordal of change of name and address
Once a change of name has been filed, it will take 2-5 months to process it.
