Procedure of trademark in China shall include the following steps:
Step 1: Trademark Search in China (Optional)
Trademark search is not compulsory. However, in order to know the availability of your trademark before officially filing a new trademark in China, it is highly recommended that you should conduct the trademark search.
The trademark search in China shall be available within 5-7 days
Step 2: Trademark filing in China
The trademark procedure in China shall take about 15-16 months counted from the filing date. However, in case of office action, the time procedure could be longer.
Step 3: China Trademark registration certificate
Time of trademark certificate issuance in China shall be about 1-2 months.
