In the Philippines, a trademark or service mark registration may be renewed for periods of ten years after the expiration of the original ten-year term, upon payment of the prescribed fee and upon filing of a petition for renewal of registration.
In Myanmar, a trademark under the new law can be renewed from time to time for an unlimited period upon payment of the renewal fees, failing which the mark becomes liable to be removed from the Register on account of non-renewal. Each renewal term is for 10 years.
